Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
Do I need experience to join a class?
No. Every class at VibrantYou Yoga is structured to welcome complete beginners. Meghan provides clear instructions and offers modifications throughout every session so you can work at a level that feels right for your body today. The only thing you need to bring is a willingness to show up.
What do I need for an online class?
A device with a working camera and microphone, an internet connection, and enough clear floor space to lie down fully extended in both directions. A yoga mat is helpful but not required for meditation or pranayama sessions. After booking you will receive a Zoom link by email at least one hour before class starts.
How do online classes work?
Online classes run live via Zoom. Meghan can see you and offer real-time corrections and encouragement just as if you were in the same room. Classes are not recorded by default to protect everyone's privacy, though recordings may occasionally be shared with participants who miss a session, only with their consent.
Classes
What style of yoga is best for a complete beginner?
Hatha Yoga is the natural starting point. Its deliberate pace and emphasis on alignment give you time to understand each posture before moving to the next. Once you feel comfortable with the basics, usually after four to six sessions, Vinyasa flows become far more accessible and rewarding. That said, all classes welcome beginners, so follow what draws you.
Can I attend if I have an injury or health condition?
Yes, with the right communication. Please let Meghan know about any injuries, surgeries, or conditions when you book. She will adapt postures and sequences accordingly. For complex situations a private session is often the safest way to begin, so Meghan can assess your needs fully before placing you in a group class.

What is your cancellation policy?
Please cancel at least 24 hours before class begins so your spot can be offered to someone on the waiting list. Cancellations made within 24 hours may not be eligible for a refund. Life happens, if something unexpected comes up, just reach out and we will do our best to accommodate you.
